The HM Awards for accommodation and hotel excellence made a grand return to New Zealand on Friday 31 October 2025 and recognised the leading hotels, resorts, departments and staff at properties across New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The award categories presented on the night include the New Zealand and South Pacific People, Property and General Awards, with the Major Awards presented in Sydney at the HM Awards Australasia.

On the back of increased entries and significant demand, more categories for New Zealand and the South Pacific were added to the HM Awards program for the first time in 2024, alongside an all-new ceremony for the region at Cordis Auckland for the second time.

Trudi Nelson

Trudi is a well-known New Zealand broadcaster and MC across TV, Radio, Events and Digital. Trudi is the station voice for The Breeze network and hosts a weekly lifestyle radio show on Magic. She also has a background in the food industry and is past president of NZ Foodwriters, still very active in the sector as MC and voice. She’s also been a newsreader for Newshub, Prime TV and Today FM.
